Porter Lyons is pleased to announce their new collection launch; a celebration of jewelry inspired by "Deco Bohemia". Unconventional chevrons, caged motifs and peacocks are but a few of the inspirations in designer Ashley Porter's eighth collection. The fall launch centers around Porter's intention to capture the free spirited wanderer with that of the mass produced designs of the 1920’s art deco period. The afternoon will be hosted at Longue Vue House & Gardens on Saturday, October 24th from 4-7PM.
Building on its past successful collections and taking advantage of its expanded brand, the launch will offer tastings & spirits from some of the best in the city. Guests can enjoy live music from the 1920’s era, prohibition style libations, and hot air balloon rides for a select few. Major elements include:
- Bocce ball
- Music by T-Ray the violinist
- Hot Air Balloon including tethered rides 128 feet high
- Live 1920’s Jazz Band featuring The Dapper Dandies
- Burlesque by Trixie Minx
